Ambassadors FC Ohio host new NPSL members
The Rochester NY FC Academy has transformed itself since the original days as the Rochester Mavericks, which were founded in 1966. Since the founding of the Mavericks (boys) and the Rochester Spirit (girls), the club has transitioned into the Rochester Junior Rhinos (1998), Empire United Soccer Academy (2008), and now Rochester NY FC Academy (2022). RNY FC won the 1999 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, the 2nd oldest national sport championship in America. Ambassadors FC will play host at King Field as these two new league members battle for points in the penultimate week of the regular season.
